Does it actually float, or is there a hidden support?

It genuinely floats. Magnetic levitation holds the upper module in the air with nothing touching it — you can pass your hand through the gap.

Is it hard to set up?

It takes about a minute. Plug in the base, place the upper module on the center point using the alignment card, and let go. Most people get it on the first or second try.

Does it have to stay plugged in?

Yes. The magnetic field needs power, so it runs from the included USB-C cable while in use.

Can I turn the lights off?

Yes. You can run it lit or unlit — floating and rotating work either way.

Can I use it as a night light?

That's where it's at its best. The crimson glow is soft rather than harsh, so it works as ambient light for a desk or bedroom.

Is it noisy? Does it get warm?

It runs quietly — no motor noise from the floating module. The base stays comfortably warm at most, never hot.

What happens if it loses balance?

It simply settles back down onto the base. Nothing breaks. Reposition it and let go again.

How big is it?

Compact by design. The upper module is palm-sized and the base is slim, so the whole piece fits comfortably on a desk or shelf.
