Does it actually levitate?

Yes. The top module holds in the air above the base using magnetic levitation.

What part rotates?

Only the top module rotates — slowly and continuously. The black city base stays put.

What lights up in crimson?

The mesh lines, emblems, center ring and city windows glow crimson. The eyes stay a neutral white.
